game of chance with consequences is a metaphor for life - we as a species
are gamblers.. Votive figures keep the
family in luck by placating the gods. My household
gods are made of found and natural objects wrapped in precious
flax paper, placed in a portable shrine ready to be packed away each
day or taken on the annual summer caravan pilgrimage."
